Built for the whole workflow

Less copying. More editorial control.

Writing an article is only part of publishing it. THE JORNAL brings the brief, conversation, article checks, images, and Blogger delivery together in a persistent Chrome workspace.

Save drafts

The default starting point. Send checked content to Blogger for your review.

Schedule a batch

Choose a start time, time zone, and interval. Review the timetable before confirming.

Publish now

Use an explicitly confirmed publishing mode when your editorial process is ready.

A focused publishing toolkit

From brief to Blogger.

01 / PLAN

Batches that follow your brief

Set the subject, audience, language, article count, and editorial requirements. Start with one draft, then scale to a finite batch that fits your workflow.

02 / WRITE

Your own ChatGPT session

Generate in a visible ChatGPT tab, with a separate conversation for each article. Corrections stay with that article. No OpenAI API key is required.

03 / CHECK

Checks before delivery

Check article structure, length, metadata, repeated text, and title overlap. Bounded correction attempts help resolve issues; failed checks hold publication.

04 / ILLUSTRATE

Images with attribution

Discover supported openly licensed images from Wikimedia Commons, check file loading and dimensions, and include source and license captions.

05 / DELIVER

A direct Blogger connection

Select your destination blog, create drafts, or confirm scheduled or immediate publication. The queue records returned Blogger post IDs and delivery status.

06 / MANAGE

Progress you can return to

Use the side panel or full workspace to monitor work, pause and resume the queue, and preview, edit, or download saved articles from your local library.

How it works

One brief. Four clear stages.

  1. 01

    Connect your tools

Sign in to ChatGPT in Chrome. Configure Blogger access and select the blog you want to use.

  2. 02

    Create your batch

Define your audience, topics, and output. Begin with one article in Save drafts mode.

  3. 03

    Generate and validate

The extension reads the visible response, parses the article, finds images, and runs its checks.

  4. 04

    Review in Blogger

Inspect the draft, verify facts and image context, and decide when it is ready for readers.

Keep the browser open during generation. ChatGPT must remain signed in and the managed conversation must stay available. After Blogger has accepted a future schedule, Blogger handles that scheduled publication independently.
Get started

Install once. Set up your workspace.

Public download is coming soon. The instructions below describe the current developer build and will help you prepare for manual installation.

1. Install the extension

  1. When the public build becomes available, download THE-JORNAL-Chrome-Extension.zip from THE JORNAL.
  2. Extract it into a permanent folder.
  3. Open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the folder containing manifest.json.
  4. Pin THE JORNAL in Chrome's Extensions menu and open its side panel. Use the expand control for the full workspace.

2. Connect Blogger & ChatGPT

  1. For an unpacked build, enable Blogger API v3 in Google Cloud and configure the Google consent screen.
  2. Create a Chrome Extension OAuth client for your exact extension ID. Set its public client ID in the manifest, then reload the extension. Never add a client secret.
  3. In Settings, select Connect Google account, complete Google's consent flow, and choose your Blogger blog.
  4. Sign in to chatgpt.com in the same Chrome profile. Create a one-article test batch using Save drafts.
Connection help: a Google “invalid argument” error can occur when the OAuth client type or registered extension ID does not match the installed build. Check those settings before reconnecting. Follow the Chrome OAuth guide and Blogger API documentation for Google's requirements.
Privacy & control

Your workspace stays in your browser.

The extension stores its queue, article content, settings, and activity in Chrome's local extension storage. The build has no separate publishing backend or analytics service.

  • Google authorization uses Chrome's identity flow; the extension does not ask for your Google password.
  • Prompts and generated content are processed through your ChatGPT session. Blogger receives the content you authorize it to deliver.
  • Wikimedia Commons receives image-search queries. Those services have their own privacy policies.
  • Local storage is not separately encrypted by the extension. Use a trusted Chrome profile and device.
Editorial responsibility

Automation with a review step.

Automated checks can catch formatting and workflow problems. They do not establish factual accuracy, originality, or every right needed to use an image.

  • Review facts, sources, links, and the final layout before publishing.
  • Confirm that each image fits the article and that its use meets applicable rights and attribution requirements.
  • ChatGPT account limits and changes to its interface can pause generation.
  • Generated search descriptions remain available locally; set Blogger's Search description manually when needed.

Good to know

Questions before your first batch?

Do I need an OpenAI API key?

No. This extension works through your signed-in ChatGPT website session. Your account's available features, subscription terms, and usage limits still apply.

Does it publish everything automatically?

Save drafts is the default. Scheduling and immediate publication use a mode that you review and confirm. Articles that fail validation are held for attention rather than treated as successfully delivered.

Can I publish one article every hour?

You can configure a future start time, an IANA time zone, and a 60-minute interval in Schedule mode. Allow enough time for generation and review the complete timetable. A missed slot requires attention.

What happens if Chrome closes?

The extension saves progress locally and supports queue recovery. Generation needs Chrome and ChatGPT to be available. An already accepted Blogger schedule can run without Chrome staying open.

What if ChatGPT has finished but the queue is waiting?

Open the article's managed conversation and check that the response and earlier prompt are loaded. Use Pause and Resume for recovery before creating a new generation. If the result remains blocked, inspect the reported validation or connection issue.

Is this an official Google or OpenAI product?

No. THE JORNAL is an independent extension. Chrome, Blogger, and ChatGPT belong to their respective owners. This developer build is not represented as approved or endorsed by Google or OpenAI.

Where can I get the extension or ask for help?

The public download is coming soon while the extension is being updated. Contact THE JORNAL for questions or to report a problem. Include the extension version and the visible error message; do not send passwords, access tokens, or private credentials.

Your next article starts with a better workflow.

Connect your tools, prepare one draft, and build a publishing routine you can review and control.
